Astrid Sherman and Gillian Hunt have a long history of collaboration starting with the planning of the flashmob for the United Girls of The World in 2010. Since then, Astrid’s students from Pro Arte Centre and later her aspirant pre-professionals from CatchingART performed in numerous events and performances together with the Vox and Espiritu. Astrid currently resides between Los Angles and Vancouver as she explores a Master's Degree in Dance Pedagogy and has taken a position with the ISTD in England to be their representative for North America. She continues to mentor young dancers as an avid dance science educator, being on the Dance Educators Committee for The International Association of Dance Medicine & Science and being the Dancer Wellness Advisor for Ballet Beyond Borders. But her first love is creating art and she looks forward to more collaborative choreographic ventures with Gillian Hunt in the near future.
